Working with education is not limited to learning and training of students in the classroom or to a specific place or time; rather school and education have to be expanded and connected to all aspects of society in an everlasting way. The subject must be prepared to learn the whole life and be connected to learning in a wider sense . This is the notion of life-long learning.
很有意思的一個概念, 是上星期從爆谷教授那裡學的。意思大約是: 現在不只是學校如社會, 而是社會如學校。學校如社會是杜威教授提倡的, 爆谷教授加入現代的想法修飾為學校如社會。現在"life-long learning"是世界多個國家發起的教育理念。
但今日在圖書館看到一本書是有關毛澤東的教育理念, 原來早在50年代, 毛澤東己經很有先見之明, 早早就提倡社會大學這個理念而且大力推廣。(中國人真聰明! 明天要那本書回去給爆谷看。)
現在想起爺爺以前總是說:"我都有讀大學的, 我讀社會大學。" 原來一早爺爺己經學會而且應用了今日我們才發起的舊理念。
